the Verizon version has a locked bootloader out of the box and would require rooting and flashing the unsecure aboot.img to even attempt such a process...

You'll never be able to use 4g as the Verizon version uses a uic? Card and sprints doesn't. You'd be able to flash it to metropcs and actually use 4g on their network. That or offer to trade for a sprint version.
