Help Can you do a master reset without going through settings?

Ok so I just got the Samsung Transform for my daughter today. Now were getting this error message and it won't go away long enough for me to get into the settings. So is there a way to reset the phone without going through settings?

No worries, Ill help you out.

I want you to turn off the phone, press the Voice button (Which is right below the power button) Volume down, and then the power button until the phone turns on. Your going to enter something called recovery mode. Think of it like BIOS for phones. Now use the volume buttons to navigate recovery mode. Go down to 'wipe data/factory reset' and press the voice button. This should fix your problem, but if it doesn't just post back here. I'd be glad to help further.

Setting > Privacy > Factory Reset
