Can you get weather in notification pulldown bar?

I saw on the iphone you can do that and I was wondering if it was available on the S3. I don't want to download an app for it, I was just wondering if there was a way to do it on the stock S3 with accuweather. Or if anybody knows if it will be in the notification pulldown bar when jelly bean is released

Google Now with Jelly Bean adds the function to have it there yes :)
 
You can also use Beweather or Go Weather Ex, both of them have this functionality. Look at mine, using BeWeather.

Beautiful Widgets is also able to do this. It puts the current temperature in the notification bar and has more details in the pull down menu.

The stock weather uses accuweather but does not do the weather in notification. I'm using the accuweather app.
 
Why not just download weatherbug or accuweather now? Why wait for jelly bean? Not sure I understand the problem with just downloading an app

Because I don't want to download an app. I like the stock accuweather widget and was just wondering if there is an option to make that weather info show up in the notification bar.

Why do you have a problem downloading an app?? Sorry I just don't get it...

If you download a weather app that will do what you want, you do realize you can still use your precious accuweather widget right? Sorry, but your problem has a very simple solution if you would just do it.

This is why I downloaded the Accuweather app. I still use the stock weather widget but downloaded the Accuweather App for the Notification Weather.
 
Sighhh. I don't need a phone. Please don't tell me about my "next phone". And "afraid of apps"...like I said, I just didn't want to download another weather app. Not hard to understand. That doesn't mean I'm afraid. It simply means that I didn't want to.
