Help Can you guys please help me with something basic?

I'm not sure if this should be in the S2 or S3 section but here goes...

I upgraded yesterday and I'm in the process of setting everything up.

I have about 1500 pics on the S2 that were not saved to the sd card. My computer is broken right now so everything has to be done via the phones. I've tried going into my files and moving them onto the external sd, but it just says processing and after 5 or so minutes I give up. I've also tried mybackup pro, it back ups and restores fine on the S2, but it won't restore on the S3. Bluetooth is taking too long and they keep disconnecting.

My S2 is set to sell on Saturday so I need to get this done, but I dont know of any other way. Also, is there any way to restore my pics on dropbox back onto my phone?

I really appreciate any help as this is driving me crazy :o
 
Try using DropBox. You'll have ~50 GB because you have a Galaxy S3 in Canada. Sign up for your dropbox account using the S3 first, though. Then, when you get your extra space, then transfer files from the S2 to DB, then from DB to the S3.
 
The DropBox app will let you download files. If not, then I'd recommend ES File Explorer. Swipe to the left once you have ES File Explorer running and you can add a cloud server. Dropbox is an option and you can multi-select files to download.
 
Your first method of transferring to the external sd via you gs2 will work. It is just a slow process so just start transferring and then find something else to do for 20 or so minutes and it will get there in the end.

And thanks to you as well Shotgun84, I was hoping for a short cut since I wasn't sure they were actually transferring.

This has been a PITA! Lol
