Can you play flash movies on the Desire?

Ok I've had this phone for a week now and can't really flaw it - although the battery life sucked at first its now pretty awesome after being used a bit.

But anyway, I know this phone has flash support for the net and for apps etc, but is there a way to actually play flash movies on the HTC desire? As I have many and am having to constantly convert them

yep you can play .flv files
WORKING Divx on Desire - xda-developers
all credit goes to XDA guys
even though this app is still in developement it still plays .flv files quite well
enjoy it

no probs, just hope the developer will improve it soon, but it's usable as it is
