Help Can you record from the FM radio ?

I doubt the audio api's for android can handle full duplex operations. Unless you're recording from another radio through the mic, but that wouldn't have very good sound quality.

Hello elglobie. There are a lot more users here to ask questions than to answer them, so a "support" prefix on the thread can attract those who like to find and help those in need of assistance (such as Guide Staff ;)). I've changed your prefix from "general" to "support" for you.

There is a lot of discussion about an app that could enable FM radio recording via Android devices. The closest thing I've seen to that is Audacity recording through the PC, once the PC itself has picked up the radio station you want to record.

I did an internet search on "android record from fm radio" and found myself reading through threads in many Android forums around, including our AF.

Up till now it wasn't possible except with the Philips connect android mp3 player, but "There is an app for that" now I am going to try it at an upcoming convention that I attend 3x annually and when I do I plan to reply to the thread again to let you know what i found, but the app is called FMRadio Recorder TaRSyS is the user on Google Play, search for it exactly as I spelled it and you should find it....woulda posted the link but to new of a user to post links apparently.:smokingsomb:

For FM recorder, I could not find any specific app. But I use sourceforge app and All That Recorder. These can record FM

on the stock fm player, recordings can be made by pressing the 'red record button' on the top left of the player
