Help Can you take a snap shot of the screen?

Yes you can without doing rooting and shootme all you need to do is the opposite of the iPhone you hold the power bottom and hit home before the power menu pops up. After you do that a little POP up bar will show near the home keys saying" screen shot is saved to camera shots". Then go to your gallery and go to camera shots and it will be there.

Is it possible to take a picture of what is showing at that time on the EVO's screen?

Yes you can just hold the power button then press the home button.

Nope. Doesn't work on my EVO 4G with 2.3.3 (non-rooted).
