Help Can you track your htc one m8

I seem to have lost my htc one m8. the phone is dead and i am having no success finding it. is there any way i can track it to be able to find it?

If it's dead, it won't respond to the location query, so pretty much not possible.

Unless you had the location history enabled in the settings maybe? If so you could probably find out its last known location before it shut down.

i have tried the android device manager to no success. I knew i was pretty much screwed but i figured i might as well ask
