Can you turn 3G on and off

Can you turn 3G on and off on this phone, having problems today already, went out and bought a voda sim but doesnt show a 3G signal, prob my area but didnt know if there was a option to turn on and off, also my signal just cutting out on this phone every 10 mins, dont know if its faulty to send back.
