Help Canada ICS update

My galaxy tab 10.1 is from Canada with NA stock FW. I am currently in South Korea. Will I still get the OTA ICS or must I be in Canada?

I've been checking KIES 10 times a day. I unrooted my tab and factory reset it thinking that a WIFI only tab should be one of the first to get the updates. So I've had an unused tab sitting here waiting for the update that doesn't seem to be coming.
 
If I understand it correctly, the update comes over the air. You go to Settings/About phone/Software update/Check for update. This makes your Tab use whatever network it is on to call it's real home and ask for the update.
 
I thought it was supposed to be like 2 weeks ago, but I have not got any update notifications or anything yet.

The carriers need to verify the update works properly on their system before letting the update go forward. Bell has a timeline of June for the Tab, so I'm guess Rogers will be similar.

Was kind of wondering the same thing. I have my Samsung account linked in My Accounts along with my Google account. I check for updates maybe once every few days.

i tried to use Samsung Kies but it's not detecting my tab and i've totally given up on Kies. I just hope that ALL updates would be available over the air.

Do you need a Samsung account to get updates? cause I only have the Google Play account and haven't signed up for a Samsung account but i've gotten a firmware upgrade before.
 
I don't believe you need a samsung account. I've gotten firmware updates too, but I have one set up. Is it just me or is ICS still not here for Wi-Fi tabs. I still haven't recieved an update message.

Still not here for me either. I read somewhere yesterday that Samsung said August, but I can't vouch for that information being true or not.

I have my Samsung account set up, also.
