Help Canadian gTablet in UK

Hi all,

In brief:

A colleague of mine was given a gTablet by her partner, who lives and works in Canada; the tablet is Canadian-bought.

Colleague lives in the UK, and is interested in using the tablet to access things like iPlayer, UK content-locked YouTube, etc. However, she cannot connect to such things.

Is it possible to change the "region" of the tablet?

I'm fairly comfortable with Android now, but unfortunately I can't really get any hands-on with the tablet. For now, I'm just throwing this out there with the hope of some ideas or suggestions.

They would have to go into Settings, Locations and make sure it knows it's in the UK and not Canada-US. If it's not rooted (i.e. using the original software), they would have to put flash on it (iPlayer uses flash, so without it, it wouldn't be able to run). If it's not rooted they would have to go to
