Help Cannot access to drafts

Dear Android users:

I have a HTC desire hd phone with android 2.2. Recently I have been unable to get access to my drafts folder. Everytime I try to go to my drafts I get the following error message:

 
Maybe the Drafts folder has become corrupted. Unless someone else comes up with an answer, you could try saving another message as a draft, just to see if that uncorrupts things.
 
Hi, new guy here! I can't give a reason to why that's happening, but I came across this thread on a google search as I am experiencing the same problem on my Desire HD 2.2. I don't use drafts much and suddenly noticed I had the same error the other day. The only thing that I can think of is that I had an update come through a few days ago (the update number escapes me now) and this must be causing the issue as it's the only thing thats changed. Have you taken any system updates recently?
 
I had the same issue happen yesterday. I guess its starting to affect people since the latest Desire HD update.

I started a message, but then backed out of it, the phone did something strange, and been unable to access drafts since.

I've tried creating the exact same message and saving to drafts, and it saves, but I cant access anything in the drafts.

Drafts saved to a conversation are appearing fine, and can be editted, but its the messages without a sender saved to them that are having issues

I also have the same problem since the update. I thought it was just me. I have tried the usual, clearing out messages & message cache etc... but nothing seems yo work
 
I have a Desire Z and I noticed the same problem of the Drafts folder crashing when an access attempt is made. This only started after i did a software update on my phn.
I hade to install GoSMS as a temp solutn, but still cannot access my drafts folder from that app ... but enjoy its other cool features.
 
I have no access to my all messages since the update. I can only see them by the help of widget that i put on screen.. luckily I can reply the people..
but it is very irritating to have such good phone and have such a bad messages fucntion for now..

I am really looking forward for the recommendations. I have gone back to factory defaults for two times but it did not help anything.
 
I found my way here through a Google search. I have a HTC Desire Z, recently bought it, and not I get the same error as ccalexandre when trying to access the drafts folder. Can't do it, doesn't work. I have 19 important messages there.

I am wondering about just setting the phone back to factory settings, as that function is important to me. Unless someone else has the answer to how to fix it.
 
My phone is only a about a week old, but there where actually a system upgrade available (operating system for the whole phone). When I ran it, the drafts began working again.
