cannot create blankActivity with tabs or masterDetailsFlow

Hi
I successfully installed sdk android for windows and eclipse will all the sdk.
But when i try to create a new project i obtain this error
This template requires a minimum SDK version of at least 11, and the current min version is 8
when I create blankActivity with tabs or masterDetailsFlow...

But in the sdk Manager all the sdk is successfully installed...

Any idea what is missing ?

When you create the project, it asks for 'Minimum Required SDK' set this to a higher sdk. The one you have selected for backwards compatibility is too old to support the new development features.
