Help Cannot Deactivate Dual Clock on Huawei P20 Lite

Hi everyone,

As the title implies, I am having trouble with the dual clock on my home screen.
Every time I leave the area where I live, the clock on my home screen automatically reverts to a dual clock - both displaying the exact same time but different towns/cities. As there is only one timezone in my country, I really have no use for it. This only affects my home screen - my lock screen shows just the one clock. Deleting the clock widget and adding it again makes no difference.

I have looked through all the settings on my phone (running Android 8.0) and I cannot find any option to disable this. I've searched through forums but I cannot find any answers specifically related to this issue - I'm also not entirely sure if this problem is related to Android or the device, though I've never had this issue with other phones running Android. Can anyone help me out?

Can you post a screen shot of the home screen or photo of it?
It's a widget so long press it and choose delete or trash.
If that doesn't work install a different launcher from the play store

I've attached a screen shot. I tried deleting the widget but it has no effect.

Are there any good launchers you would recommend? I'm not a huge fan of 3rd party launchers, but I'll use one if it fixes the problem

Nova Launcher is probably the best and what I use
