Cannot disable google location services

All are greyed out and are impossible to check off & disable google location services
Please help

What type of phone are you using?

Are you running a custom ROM? it may be in the ROM you are running that has these locked out.

No I never messed with the rom options. All I want to do is disable google location services its eating up my ram and impossible to disable

Just so I'm clear. Are you rooted but running the stock ROM?

I would assume so, I flashed my phone with my droid connected via usb following a tutorial. I have never played with roms in fear of bricking my droid though. Ill post a pic of settings/location & security so you can see what I mean by greyed out in a little while

Vzw probably has it set like that on purpose as you're on stock.

Try an app or custom ROM to turn it off.

That is probably V. TMo lets you choose. Even the Nexus 4 has the choice.
Droid is V brand. Since it comes through Verizon only, they have total say.
Does anyone have an unlocked Droid on Verizon?

I'm saying Droid is a Verizon brand as I've never seen another carrier advertize one.

I'm thinking it's a Motorola phone thing. I'm able to change these on my VZW Galaxy S3.
