Cannot enter password into Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

[Android Question]

Hi,
A week a go bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7". Model SM-T210 purchased and used here in the UK.

I updated a load of the software yesterday. After restarting I can no longer type my password in. When I tap the box to get the keypad to appear a voice recognition symbol appears instead. So can't enter the password!

Help much appreciated!

Hi

hen the mic symbol appears, press it to cancel voice entry then press the keyboard symbol that appears next to it.
