Cannot find sent emails on Galaxy Tablet 10.1

I have a Galaxy Tablet 10.1 and a Galaxy S111 smart phone, both running Jellybean 4.2.1. with my email account set up on both devices, but that is where the similarities end. My question refers to the way the tablet behaves when trying to check back on sent emails, I assume they are somewhere on the tablet but cannot find them. The tablet shows my email name and ISP address at top left and underneath are listed Inbox, Drafts, Outbox and Trash but no Sent box. If I tap on the 3 horizontal lines at the top right of the screen, I am offered the following: Sort By, View Mode, Delete All and Settings. If I change from my email name and ISP address to "Combined View," there are even fewer choices: Combined Inbox, Trash and my email name and ISP address.

My phone offers more choices within the email section. By tapping on the bottom left of the screen, the following menu appears: Search, Folders, Sort by, View Mode, Font Size, Settings and Delete All.

Selecting "Folders" from the above, brings up Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent and Recycle Bin.

Both email accounts were set up in exactly the same way and are POP3. Although I can check emails sent from the tablet via my phone, I wonder if there a simple explanation for the way the Tablet does not appear to show these and what, if anything, I can do to rectify. I have looked in the settings menu but cannot find anything helpful there either, unless it is staring me in the face and I cannot see it.

Any advice would be much appreciated..Thanks in advance.

(Sorry if this has come through twice, tried to attach, appeared to fail, and copied and pasted instead.)
