Help Cannot get camera to focus

I'm a new owner of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and struggling with the camera. I've used other smaller tablets before and know that pressing and holding the camera button helps to focus and apon releasing the "button" the photo is taken. However, it seems like either there is a problem with my camera, or I missed a setting somewhere or perhaps not doing it right.

How can I get the camera to focus? I know in dim light it really takes horrible photos due to having only a 3 Mega Pixel camera BUT even in bright sunlight I get blurred/out of focus pictures.

Hi.

Check to ensure there is no protective plastic covering the lens of the tablet, or any fingerprints/dirt/pizza.

Both of mine were shipped covered in the stuff, obviously to protect it from any scrapes, most of it is still on the rear of the tab.

Failing that, be resigned to the fact that the cameras on the tab are, well, crap!
