Root Cannot install clockwork recovery???!!!

LogicXLz'

Lurker
Hi guys!

I own HTC Wildfire... It's been rooted...

As I finally got Rom Manager available (before some OTA update it wasn't...), I cannot use any of the functions, except "Boot in recovery"...
Whatever i choose it says "...to install CloworkMod Recovery from Rom Manager...".
And when I confirm, it just makes some internet activity (checks somewhere?) and does nothing else. Nothing changes, leaving me with no Clockwork recovery GUI...

Thank you ever so much! Regards...

Nevermind... I tried to uninstall and reinstalled it again, then it worked... Seems that a new version of RomManager has been made available in the meantime... :-)

Regarding the partitioning... It seems that in case of SD cards, the only possible and rational choice is to make an EXT2 part. The EXT3 and its journaling function is intended for larger physical discs, which can handle the extra effort. Beware!!! I' ve read that EXT3 can acctualy be hazardous to you phone's SD card!!!

Hope the stuff I've learned helps...

same thing happens with me. whenever i choose partition sd it asks me to install clockwork mod and i choose install then some internet activity then nothing...

your lucky, i cant get this wildfire to flash at all using unrevoked3 on my linux laptop or pc...All i want is to debrand the thing nothing more. My desire flashed without a hitch.
