Help cannot locate the com port number

I am trying to read my phones information with cdma workshop, I have the drivers installed and the phone connects just fine, shows as "SAMSUNG Android USB Composite Device" but does not show up under the port section of devices.

Any ideas on what to do?

Some extra info, I tried the drivers alone from Samsung Moment | Random Tech Info website, I tried both drivers on that website on a windows 7 machine. They install fine but nothing shows up under the port section in the device manager.

I also tried on a windows xp machine with those methods and also installed the full new PC studio from samsung with the same result.

with enough googling, I found it.

samsung moment m900 diag mode??

It is a menu option

"Go>menu>settings>Wireless&Networks>DialUpNetworkin g checked Now you are in Diag mode..."

then it will show up under the ports
