cannot open android market

hello,
i am using sony ericsson xperia mobile...whenever i open matket they ask 2 login through gmail id after that an arror msg occurs whic saya u cannot open contact customer care...why does this happen???

Try clearing data from the Play Store application (this is the new name for the Android market) to see if this could fix the problem.
