Help Cannot play any video with Gio?

Hi,

Just bought Gio for my son. But now wondering how can I play video with it... I kind of let myself to understand that it mainly plays H.264 format. So I did a conversion from an MPEG file to .m4v file using Handbrake. I also did one using .mkv.

Then I transferred those to the phone over bluetooth. When going to my files and looking at the bluetooth directory, I can see both files. It even shows the picture of the first second in the icon. But when I try to play it, a message is popped saying "Cannot play video. Sorry, this video cannot be played."

The resolution for the clip is 417 x 288.

All other .mp4 files have not played either. What am I missing? I did set up some 'parental' controls but I thought those would only apply for Android Market, I cannot recall I did anything else.

The player I'm trying to use is aVia (I think that should be quite useful as it can handle DLNA stream as well).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, p

Thanks! How about for Mac? Until now I have always used Handbrake and not sure why files don't work. Any other tool to try?
