Cannot play video

[Android Question]

So I went to go watch some anime on my phone but whenever I try and open the video it says cannot play video. (The app I use for this is the ES Media Player that came with the ES File Explorer app) I tried reinstalling the program that my phone typically uses for these types of videos, and that didn't work. Then I realized that it isn't the application because it managed to play some downloaded videos I had on my phone. The anime website is actually very reliable and I highly recommend it.

Sounds like an issue with the video format on the site. You could try some other media players from the Play Store: some third party ones support a wider range of formats.
