Cannot read some e-mails

Lurker
For just the last month I have been receiving e-mails from certain yahoo and g-mail accounts, but there is nothing but a blank screen. I cannot read the message. I have to log onto my pc to read the e-mail. I went to verizon store and the employee told me to download the yahoo mail app since that is my e-mail provider. I researched this and there seems to be a lot of bugs. Once again, everything was working fine up until last month. What should I do??

Well, try to remove and add the apps again I suppose. You won't lose any data anyway and it would take only 2 minutes.

I've seen this before, it's happened to me.

In my case, the mailer on their end was adding their sig as an html attachment and after the mail got processed on all sides, the Android side ended up not being able to decide where the message body or html/sig attachment went and ultimately - displayed nothing, just as you reported.

I had the few people causing me that problem change their sigs and that was a good workaround for me.

It sounds like either the servers or your email app have had one of those "feature updates" that breaks things for you.

You can test this with an alternate email app, like K-9 Mail, free in the Market, to see if it's your email app.

Hope this helps!

I had that issue. Using a different app now with no problems.
