Help Cannot receive calls when charging

New Galaxy 3 has several problems. Cannot receive calls when charging or when plugged into PC, and will not download any texted pictures. Phone is AT&T. Any suggestions?

i dont have that problem with mine. also att.

when you have the phone charged do you lay it on its back or screen. if screen then you might have one of the motion settings active.

Settings > Motion> Turn over to mute/pause. Turn off.
Or just not lay it on the screen.

We tried it while holding the phone in my hand. It just goes to voicemail. Didnt see any setting that might control this, but I'm still learning the phone. Otherwise it is typically laying screen up. I am on call at work and need the phone so not getting calls when it is plugged in is a major issue.

so the calls go straight to voicemail when charged?

i looked in the settings and dont really see anything

im sorry i cant help. you might have to talk about with some one at the store you got it from or with your carrier
