Cannot remove icon from home screen

Hi,

I added by mistake 2 app icons on top of each other on the home screen (Moto G). Now I cannot remove it in any way. If I press and hold on the icon, the "Choose Walpaper" option appears. I cannot delete it, cannot drag the icon anywhere.

I removed the app, the icon is still there (without any title). It stays on top of a black disk and it is always there, even if I scroll through the extension screens. It overlaps other icons and the calendar while scrolling.

What do you think?

It sounds like you are using a non-stock launcher and have created a folder by dragging one icon onto another. Removal varies depending on launcher.

1. What happens if you quick-tap the icon?
2. What launcher are you running (e.g., ADW, Apex, Nova)?
