cannot remove system apps with rooted phone

Newbie
I've rooted my phone and I've installed System app remover (ROOT), but whenever I try to uninstall a system up (such as facebook, twitter, google drive - could you believe that facebook and twitter are "system apps"?), it places them into recycle bin, but at the same time they appear immediately at the top of the list labelled "just restored" or they stay completely unchanged in the list. The app is never removed. System app remover does have root access, as I've given it through SuperSU Free.

Any ideas what's going on with that?

I have no clue as to what's going with those apps restoring themselves like that, it does sound quite odd. I'll just suggest trying a similar, different app like Titanium Backup. TB will let you 'freeze' an app or service, effectively disabling it, or uninstalling it completely.

If that doesn't work either, maybe as a final measure install a firewall app. I really like AFWall+. You should think about installing it anyway, a good firewall is useful in any case.

Never used the app myself but it sounds like there's a setting in the app to stick it in a recovery folder instead of deleting. Or maybe it won't let you delete system until you tick something. Have a look there first. Won't argue with titanium backup though. You can also delete them from there. Also just in case you can back them up first too :D

In fact..that's a quite normal behaviour..what it does is that uninstalls the update of the app firt..so when it says the app was just "added" in green print them you can go ahead and uninstall the actual app by hitting it again..

Let me know.
