Help cannot save mms pictures to phone gallery

I just got the new 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update on my Samsung Galaxy Reverb phone but now when someone sends me a mms picture to my phone via text message, the phone will not allow me to save the picture to my gallery. It will only allow me to "set as" wallpaper, lock screen, or home screen.
 
Thank you. I have also downloaded Go SMS Pro today and this allows me to save the photos. Do you have an opinion on this app? Or a different one you recommend for send texts/pics?
 
You say your SGR is not allowing you to set defualt wall yet all photos are located in picture/whatever including screenshots.Simply use any form of file browser go to picture/whatever your looking for press both gallery and image gallery should pop up select gallery press the menu button on your phone edit and set picture as will pop up set as wallpaper.You then have to crop manually rest is self explanatory
