Cannot send SMS text messages when screen locked.

Hi,

I have tried to set a task up whereby i automatically text my other half when I am leaving work (based upon GPS).

The problem is that it won't send the text when the screen is locked - it waits until I manually unlock the screen and then sends it.

There seems to be an issue, therefore, with the phone sending texts whilst on screen lock.

Is there any way around this?

Could you share the details of your profile (with the actual phone number blanked out)? That might help us narrow it down.

Also, what device / Android OS version? Is it rooted?

Just to confirm - I am using a Moto G 4g, running Kitkat. The phone is rooted.

Screenshots work. You could also export your profile (in text format so we can read it, please), or even just type up a description of what options you've selected.
