Cannot set timeout properly

Hi
In short, I have a secuurity app installed, which forces my phone to lock after 10 minutes of inactivity.

I try to avoid this by somehow waking up the phone every 9 minutes.
The only way so far I have found that works is it use Security settings and use "Screen & Keyboard lights on for 1 sec".

It turns the display on every 9 minutes, but I would like tht display to stay BLACK, so it doesn't look like the display turns on.
The best way show far for that is to install an app "Black Screen Saver".
So the task launches the app. Before that I set the app to 7 sec which is the minimum, but still, when the task turns on screen, for a split second it shows my homescreen, even though I started up the app before turning on the screen, and the the app with black screen in on for 40 seconds. It's like the 7 sec time out settings doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

This is my Task as of now. Please give me input to improve :)
