Help Cannot update, check for update

Cannot check for update on tablet. Select "update" and nothing happens. Power cycled, tried through WIFI, cellular data... still not able to select "update". Other tablet users around me have been able to take the update. Device will not connect to Kies either (neither will any other tablet around me either).

Any recommendations?

For me (GT-P7500D), a factory reset fixed all that.

You could try using Odin to upgrade your tablet. I used the instructions in the following link to do mine and it worked like a charm. I didn't use Kies (doesn't work for me either) or the OTA update. The link below is for the GT-P7510 firmware. If you have the 7500 you'll have to find that file from somewhere, but the procedure would be the same.
