Help Cannot update Market items

For some reason I can't seem to update some apps in the market. It will download them fine (currently 5 apps need updated) then says 'Installation is unsuccessful' pops up at the top of the screen.

Any Ideas? I have an HTC Desire running Android 2.2 with software version 2.10.405.2

Tried clearing cache, don't work, tried deinstalling the app, still doesn't work after that, driving me mad.

Are you getting installation unsuccessful or download unsuccessful?

Thats different then. Download unsuccessful is probably related to the market issues we have all been having for the last 2 weeks or so. Just keep trying

Also try clearing cache on "download manager"

i get installation unsuccessful for a few only, not all of them, when i got the facebook update it did that, and now it doesnt say to update at all, just says i have the old version and thats it.
