Help Cannot Update SMSC Getting Error (About to put my head into wall)

Hi All,

I have just bought a motorola backflip i am in the UK and i cannot update the SMSC number i have used anycut to get into phone info menu but when i enter the SMSC number and hit update nothing saves.

If i click refresh to view what is already saved i get an com.android error and have to force close. I think the android version is 1.5 for the UK version of this phone.

I am using virgin mobile the sim is not too old but i have also got a new sim and still the same problem persists.

Please hope someone can help its driving me crazy.

Can anyone please offer support on this i have this expensive phone just sitting in the box and now way to sort it out

hey there are numerous numbers carriers use but see if this works for ya I got just keep putting them end til you can send a text and go with it.
