Cant access data Huawei IDEOS X5 (U8800)

Hi All

I am quite new to all things Android. I have a Huawei X5 which here in Australia I use with AmaySim and everything works fine. However I am travelling OS soon and am trying to set up a TravelSim in it for cheaper calls, sms & data. As suggested by the support team at TravelSim my APN settings are as follows:

Name: mydroid (my phone said I had to give a name here)
APN: send.ee
Proxy: (not set)
Port: (not set)
Username: (my phone number)
Password: (not set)
Server: (not set)
MMSC: (not set)
MMS proxy: (not set)
MMS port: (not set)
MCC: 248
MNC: 01
Authentication Type: (not set)
APN type: default

I have data enabled and data roaming enabled.

TravelSim have asked me to change the Authentication type to NORMAL however under authentication type I see 4 radio button options which are:
None
PAP
CHAP
PAP or CHAP
none of which are selected at present. There is no option to select authentication as "normal"

I have had endless emails with them & suggestions from them but nothing is working yet. Am taking off overseas in a few days & getting desperate. Does anyone have any ideas?

TravelSim say everything is set up and working fine on their end.

[FONT=&quot]When I visit Australia (Qld) my 2 Degrees SIM from NZ works fine. It automatically swiches between Optus & Telstra depending on signal strength. I don't have to alter APN's.[/FONT]

1. Touch > Settings.
2. Touch Wireless & networks > Mobile networks.
3. Touch Operator Selection or Access Point Names to check the network
connection.
Your mobile phone will automatically read the access point of the SIM card. For
this reason, do not change the parameters of the access point; otherwise, you
might not be able to access network sources.

[FONT=&quot]I have 2 U8150 and 1 U8800 X5 and I've never had problems with SIM cards.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I can install 2 Degree SIM card and swap to Vodafone SIM card with out any troubles. Hope you get it sorted. Neil.
