Root Can't access recovery mode -_-

how come i can't access recovery mode in liberty 0.8?
every time i boot into it
my screen is just black
HELP please
 
this sounds like one of the bugs in liberty, have you ever been able to boot into it when you installed liberty?

have you tried using the Rom Manager app under the 2init process?
