Can't activate email?

Here we go again!
According to the "manual" you just go to "mail" and follow the instructions. When I press "mail" I get a rotating, flashing thing and the message "validating phone number". After about a minute this comes up with "Error validating phone number, tray again" and so on etc. It just doesn't do anything.
Any suggestions please?

Further to the above, now this phone is turning itself off randomly so again I have contacted Orange and ANOTHER phone is on its way! That's three bodies and two batteries so far!
Anybody else had issues with these???

You guessed first time! Why? Have you had these problems by any chance??

No. I've actually never even seen one, to be honest. You mentioned going to Orange so i took a stab in the dark. You might try asking over in that forum to see if it is a common issue to other ZTE blade owners.

Well, new phone body arrived and seem to be OK at the moment, hasn't turned itself off (yet?), but I still can't sign into my Yahoo email account. Google, no problem but when I try to add the Yahoo account it just says:
"Sign in incorrect. Sorry we can't sign you in. Please check your User Name and Password and try again".
Well obviously I know my user name/password, they're the same as I use on the laptop, so why won't it accept it??

H E L P !!

Yahoo has been very problematic for users trying to set it up in the stock email client. I think they do some unusual port forwarding. In any case, try the Yahoo Mail app and see if you can get your Yahoo mail that way.

Once again lunatic59, spot on! Many thanks! Now that I've done this I seem to remember having to do it with the first two phones I've been through but forgot this time!
