Root Can't activate with syndicate rom?

I have the Best Buy protection plan on my phone. Recently I had an accident and had to send my phone off for service. They repaired the phone free of charge. In the mean time, I got a loaner phone. Now that I have my Epic back, I cannot activate it.

I have the Syndicate ROM installed. The guys at Best Buy indicated that they have run into activation problems on rooted/custom rom phones before.

My question is this: what are my best options here? Just reflash the stock ROM? Or can I activate it with the Syndicate rom somehow?

When I go to settings > About Phone > System Updates > Update Profile/Update PRL I just get errors.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

You can try and go online to activate it... Sprint.com/activate
 
As it turns out, I just let it sit for about an hour and everything activated on its own. Strange....
