Help Can't add yahoo email account

My note2 will not let me add my yahoo email account. i know this works because this is a replacement phone & it worked fine on the last note2 that i add. Plus my yahoo account as been the same for years. Any ideas?

I know that Yahoo and Hotmail (Outllook) have changed features in their script recently and many have had issues signing in. I would suggest trying the Yahoo app, see if that works, also try a different email like K9Mail and see if it still persist, report back

The thing that really bugs me is this is a replacement phone. i just had this installed on the very same phone with no issues. If it works on that one why won't it work on this one? That's the problem with computers they all have their own personalities

Have you tried going into the email app and clear cache and data ?? and then set it up again ??

i could not find where to clear the cache from the email app but i tried to input the account in one more time & it worked. Maybe the server was just having a bad day the last time i tried it.
