Can't answer calls on Honor 5X

I bought 2 5X's recently for my wife and myself. When receiving calls from unknown callers the screen shows small phones (green and red) and no matter where I tap the call will not answer. With known callers a different screen with larger phones is displayed and tapping the green phone works fine. Is there anyone else who has this problem? What to do?

Slide the phone icon to the center of the screen. Not tap

Thanks! When I slide the center ring to green phone it picks up. Not very obvious even now but OK. Thanks for the timely help clsA!
