I have android 2.3.7 and i cant upgrade my phone. I connect my phone with a cable on computer and it doesnt take software update. How can i fix this ?

Upgrades are generally pushed by your network provider - it is worth noting that not all phones get all updates (older phones may not be updated, as providers want to sell newer phones).
It is possible to upgrade manually, usually by rooting... this is quite an involved process and is different for each device - your best bet would be to sign up and head to your phone's "All Things Root" section (head here - Android Phones - Android Forums - and scroll down until you find your device).
In the ATR section, you would be able to connect with other users of the same phone... they would be able to offer you help and advice
