Can't change avatar

Every time I try to change my avatar it won't connect to the server, and asks me to contact the administrator.

How do I keep this from happening?

No I haven't tried on a PC, I'm using the actual Android Forums app.

The AF app is based off Tapatalk and there are some things Tapatalk doesn't do well. Like changing avatars. Try it again via a pc and I think you'll have a better experience.

On a PC click on your account name in the upper right corner and go to your profile page. From there click the box on the left where the avatar goes and you should see a box to upload the image. From your phone it would depend on how you connect to Android Forums.
