Help Cant change ring tone

I installed the Zedge app a while back and really liked the ring tones. I began having a problem though where it keeps defaulting back to a holiday rind tone as my standard phone ringtone. I have deleted the app, changed the ringtone multiple times, rebooted and done a battery pull, but it seems to keep reverting back to that tone. I noticed I still have a file on the phone with the Zedge ringtones still saved in it. In fact, the Zedge ringtones I have downloaded are listed when I pull up my android ringtones? I just manually deleted that particular holiday ringtone from the file, so hopefully that will take care of it. However, Im wondering why the phone keeps doing this. Should I delete all the remaining Zedge tones and files saved on my phone?
