Help Can't Connect to PC after 4.1.2 update

I updated my GS3 to 4.1.2 last night and whereas before I could transfer files to and from my computer, I can't even get my computer to recognize the device now...anyone else having this issue?

I have the same problem with no solution besides using Kies.

Think I figured out the problem. Go to your Settings>Developer Options (at the bottom)>check USB Debugging.

I think the update unchecked that for me and idk why but after rechecking and restarting my phone I got the USB to connect.

I'm getting this from Windows7

This device is working properly.There is a secondary device connected to this hardware that Windows cannot identify because it does not have a valid hardware identification number.

It has to be the jellybean update. I had no trouble before.

....once your hand set is connected to the PC slide and open USB device connection> Choose Camera (PTP) instead of Media device (MTP)

Then explorer will display the phone internal memory and the sd card if available.

Usb debugging option can be turned on or off...
