Help Can't connect to wifi on new GN

Sat in business class lounge and can't connect to wifi using my new Galaxy Nexus but can connect using my old iPhone 4 "peed off"
On the nexus it says "saved secured with WPA but it won't connect can someone help me here I want to use my new phone????

Are you certain you entered the key properly? I would tell the phone to forget the connection and then set it up again.
 
I have tried entering it many times but same shit
I have even tried any keys until the connect comes up and it showed the same

So much for the easy answer, sorry it didn't work!

I'm sure you have probably tried rebooting to see if that helps.

What are the symptoms? You just can't do anything on WiFi or are you getting an error message?
 
I have just got off a oil rig in Angola in the staff house I could connect to a free wife and get on the Internet and send mail but I downloaded ~15 apps when I was on the rig and even though it said downloading all the apps none of the apps downloaded
Anyway I then tried to get on the secure network at the airport and all I see is "save secured with WPA and no error message
I have clicked forget many times and retried to put the password in but the same shit happens and I know it's not a password thing as I am logged on on my iPhone with the same password
Ready to trash the phone������

Unfortunately, I'm out of suggestions so I may not be able to save your phone from being thrown at the wall. :( I've never had a problem connecting to secured or free WiFi.

THe only other thing I can think of is that it is not automatically connecting for some reason. If you tap on the connection where it says saved secured, does it give you an option to connect?
 
I had the same problems, including net service going out often. As soon as I removed the Battery Defender app, problem solved. And I don't see a difference in my battery charge, either.

I tried deleting the juice defender the only thing that happened is the battery went from 25% to 2% and still no internet
 
I'm having the exact same issue, I can connect to my home wifi perfectly ,but failed in workplace, just won't connect without any erro messages. both run on wpa/wpa2 security. my workplace admin told me it was because my galaxy nexus is so NEW that it
 
There is serious WiFi issues with the Nexus. I have been on the phone with technical support for hours trying to figure out this problem, and they say a software update is due in early May to fix the WiFi problem.
 
Well this is cool, WiFi does not work on the Galaxy Nexus for sprint. My 3g service is pure shit as well. Connection timeout is my new favorite word yaaaay:(
