Help Can't connect to wifi - was connected

Hi there

I use my 10.1 in my apartment all the time (and other places too). My problem is that I was connected via my router to the internet, then for some reason it disconnected and now I can't get wifi back. I have done all the known things - switched the router off and on, rebooted the tablet, all to no avail. It says I'm connected, but I'm not.

Can someone please help me?

Sorry, I am not sure I understand this statement.

Do you mean the Tablet displays the WiFi as connected but you don't get internet connectivity?

Yes, exactly. And when I go to settings, it tells me that I am connected.

I guess you have already done this, but first I would make sure the internet connection is active. Connect to the WiFi router with a PC or other device and see if you can browse the web.

If the connection is working, go back into Settings > WiFI > Long click on the connection > Forget.

Have not encountered this problem myself. So I am note sure if it will resolve things.
