Help Can't crop properly

When I try to crop pictures the crop tool doesn't stay where I want it. I mean, when I adjust one bit it automatically adjusts the opposite side. Then it crops a big chunk off that I didn't want cutting off. The stock camera app does this and some other apps I installed too so I'm assuming it's a setting somewhere? Its driving me up the bloody wall lol, help !

Try moving the whole box to the part where you dont want it to be cropped. and adjust the size of the whole box less
