When I hold finger down to copy it opens
"send to email" but does nothing

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. I've not used your tablet but you might try placing two fingers down at the same time. That should signal the os that you have a desire to mark text. Good luck and thanks for joining and using these forums.

You'll have to be more descriptive. What are you trying to copy?

I'm trying to copy text from various documents, both plain text and from html pages.

Hi I've been having a similar problem I sent a friend an email with a description and URL and they could not copy and paste it in the standard Android email. So I fixed1t.
