Can't Decide

I really want to get the S3 as I have my last New Every Two upgrade just sitting there and I'll lose my unlimited dated if I don't do it before the 28th. I am stuck on which color to get. The white looks really sleek, everything seems to flow and blend nicely. The blue looks less classy the way the chrome around the lens, speaker and home button clash with the blue. It's like a mole on a pretty girls face. Plus the home button on the blue isn't even the same color. Sounds simple right? Get the white. BUT, white is huge distraction while using a media device which is why they don't make white tvs. I'm also a big fan of cases, I currently have a Kraken on my Galaxy Nexus. I don't believe the white would go well with any case. I'm so torn and the clock is ticking.

Like you said, if you're putting a case on it, don't worry about the color. I can get several different cases for my Nexus but prefer it without one. If it were up to me, personally, I'd go with the white since that's what I like better.

Only you can decide, obviously. But how many white phones have you owned (or seen)?

My take? Be bold, live out loud, go for the white and stand out from the crowd :)

I like the white over the blue. But once I throw a case on it I think the white would then become a distraction that I couldn't get away from. We need to see more pics of the two colors.

The white is not a distraction from the media in this case! It actually helps focus your eyes in the beautiful screen I think. It is like looking through a magic window :P

I wish they had demos at my local Verizon. It's so hard to choose without having ever held the phone. Why couldn't they just go black... All the color I need will be in the case I get.

I decided on the white long ago.

When it came to the moment of truth when preordering today, I suddenly went with the blue.

Its way too sexy. There will be plenty of white phones in the future.

I ordered the 32 gig in white. I'm not going to open it though until I get to see both in person that way I avoid a restocking fee if I like the blue. Now I just need to wait for the Ballistic SG Maxx with beautiful molded screen protector or the much praised Trident Kraken.

I was swaying towards the White but then when ordering today I also went with the Blue. More than likely these will be out before mine ships and I will go to the store to see them in person. May still have time to change my mind again. :)

I called a local VZW and asked the same question before the presale and the rep at that time said kinda dumbfounded "look at the Galaxy Nexus, they're pretty similar" O.o.. last week I called a different store on the same questions and the rep on the phone replied "I WISH..." (makes you wonder how often he got questions on it).

I preordered the pebble blue and going to try it out.. Also chancing one of those ebay back covers (Black with chrome edge). Just hoping that doesn't screw with the signal.

From what I've read the metal back messes up all kinds of things. NFC, wifi, BluTooth.

My hope is that a vanilla rom comes out with all the touchwiz features.

I preordered white last night. I had the hardest time picking between the two, but in the end I figured blue was just my sorry excuse for picking the closest thing to black that I could find. My last four phones have been black and I'm going to try something different this time. Plus white won't show fingerprints as much as blue will.

My two greatest concerns for getting white are: 1) discoloring over time, although i'm going to alleviate that as much as i can by putting on a full body skin; 2) how it might strain my eyes more looking into the screen under the sunlight (since white reflects light more versus blue which would absorb more of the light).
