for some reason, i cant download apps anymore..they just sit there trying to download, but never progress. anyone else having this problem with their g1?

Nope not having that problem, But from the home screen (power on)....

Remove the battery and SIM ... Wait 2 minutes

Reinsert SIM and Battery and retry the Market ...

This may clear the problem ...

trying that now......hopefully that works

i disabled the notifications for getting texts and stuff, for missed call, but i wanted sms popup back, and deleted missed call, and now i cant turn the notifications back on, and sms popup wont download

Well if the battery/SIM pull doesn't work then we have one other thing to try ....
