Help Cant download files on LG Eve

I tried downloading slideme's sam.apk or any other file for that matter. But anything I download it just has a bar that keeps moving but nothing happends for hours and hours. I dunno if anyone has had this problem before but this is getting quite frustrating

bump....anyway,

So yea, im updating my software. I installed the drivers. Then i reboot and click on the updater again. It says S/W is available but it goes back to updating the driver and it stays there. Then a message comes up saying it cannot connect to the server. And i go back and back to square one

....can sum1 please help me? I have been stuck here for days....is this a bug...should I give it in?
